Sagamore Seawolves Swim Team

The Sagamore Seawolves Team is led by the Swim Council.

Ages

• Competitive Team: 4-18 years (by June 1 of the current year)
• Lil Pups (non-competitive): 3-5 years

Eligibility Guidelines: For the competitive team, all swimmers must be able to swim a full length of the pool unassisted. They are allowed to rest on the lane line or wall briefly to catch their breath, but they are not allowed to touch the bottom, and no adult can be in the water with them. For young swimmers who are not yet able to swim a full length of the pool unassisted, the Lil Pups is designed to help get them ready to be on the competitive team for the following year. If you have a swimmer that needs special assistance of any kind, please let us know so that we can plan for accommodations.

Registration:

• Opens Sunday, March 15th for SCC members
• Opens Sunday, March 22nd for non-members 

Registration costs for competitive swimmers (ages 4-12 years) will be approximately $203.30 per swimmer (not including the payment processing fee) which includes:

• $150 Sagamore Seawolves fee ($15 off for each additional sibling)
• $50 Atlanta Swim Association fee
• $3.30 Swimtopia fee
• Plus a payment processing fee

Registration costs for competitive swimmers (ages 13-18 years) will be approximately $103.30 per swimmer (not including the payment processing fee) which includes:

• $50 Sagamore Seawolves fee
• $50 Atlanta Swim Association fee
• $3.30 Swimtopia fee
• Plus a payment processing fee

Registration costs for non-competitive swimmers (Lil Pups; ages 3-5 years) will be approximately $106.30 per swimmer (not including the payment processing fee) which includes:

• $75 Sagamore Seawolves fee
• $28 Atlanta Swim Association fee
• $3.30 Swimtopia fee
• Plus a payment processing fee

The ASA imposes late fees on:

• April 16 - $20 late fee
• June 2 - $25 late fee

The Sagamore Seawolves fee includes a team t-shirt, bag, and swim cap for your swimmer(s). The fee does not include a swimsuit, towel, or goggles.

Lil Pup swimmers do not need to purchase a team swimsuit and do not participate in swim meets.

Non-Club Member/Swim Team-only Registration: Registration fees are the same as above plus an additional $50.00 fee paid to the club per family. Please indicate that your family is not a SCC member on the registration form and include your initials in the specified field. This will automatically add the $50 per non-member family to the registration fee on the payment screen. Your child will not be allowed to practice until this fee is paid.

Calendar/Schedule:

• Meet schedule from ASA:
  • Tuesday nights May 26, June 2, 9, 16 and Monday, June 22.
  • ASA Championship Meet will be Wednesday, June 24th.
  • The Team Banquet will be June 25th (tentative).
• Pre-Season Practice:
  • Starting Monday, May 4th thru May 28th (no practice May 25th)
  • Monday-Thursday: 4:30-6:30pm (specific age group times TBD)
• Swim Season Practice (tentative):
  • Monday-Friday - starting June 1st thru June 19th
• • Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday: 4:00-6:30pm (specific age group times TBD)
  • Tuesday and Friday: 8:00-10:00am (specific age group times TBD)
  • Wolf Pack: Wednesday mornings after June meets: 9:00-10:00am
  • Lil Pups: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday: 4:00-4:30pm
